hey. listened to "point of no goodbye" very nice. hope to listen to the others soon. been briefly checking this from time to time. like your list, but i've only read about 3 or 4 of your top 100 list. guess i should get to reading literature more. have you ever checked out any barry lopez? he's written some fiction, but i'm a big fan of his nonfiction. you've modivated me to think about making my own top 100 list. hope you, amy, and the pups are doing real well. come see us if you get a chance. we should all meat at the carter fold sometime. i went up last saturday. pretty sad with out joe. take good care.

I am astounded. It is such a pleasure to catch up with an old friend in itself. Then to learn that you are producing works like these? Fantastic. To have spent so many nights sitting around with bitter indie-rockers listening to them constantly try to one up each other with useless trivia or some new artist yet to be revealed to their peers, and then to hear your work which is naturally Rad (I never use the term lightly) and completely unpretentious is extremely refreshing and uplifting. And I hardly noticed the rasp from the BK french fry permanently lodged in your lung.

Thanks for posting and the nice things you said on the phone about my tunes. It means a ton coming from you especially. Enjoyed catching up with you too. You gotta get your ass down here sometime. I've got a couple of tunes I'm working on that are just BEGGING for some low-frequencies.

You also need to take two or three of those riffs you got going, put them in the same key, and mesh them fuckers together to make a whole song. I'd love to hear what you're doing. Whenever, you get something you're cool with, send it to me and I'll post it on here. If you'd like.
