New York Times Top 10 Books of the Year

Ornitholoco posted this a couple of days ago in the comments of the National Book Awards post. I wanted to highlight it though because people don't always check back in and see new comments on old posts.

Make sure and check the other years back to 1997.

Thanks Ornitholoco!

Comments:
I can't comment on "A Million Little Pieces" Why not?

I also liked the book for the reason that you gave about Frey being in dire need of religion, but just couldn't do it. It is interesting how some can automatically switch to faith even if they hadn't ever been religious before. But Frey does not even start believing when told that he will probably die unless he starts. It makes it obvious in the book that that cannot be the only reason to believe in a higher power; it seems ludicrous. He was so risky in only believing in his ability to overcome his addiction.
