have you heard blaze foley. i had heard of him for some time now, but never heard him until this fall. lucinda williams' 'drunken angle' is about him.

No, I've never heard Blaze Foley, but as I was searching for Townes media online, I came across an mpeg clip of him and Townes singing Snowin on Raton together. It's awesome. I think it's on townesvanzandt.com under the audio/video section. Townes looks so cool singing, he's got his eyes closed the whole time. I don't think I'd ever really seen him play before.
