You're crazy about the mandolin arent you? You keyed in on the one mando riff that I put in this set. I should do a whole podcast of mandolin just to make you happy.

I don't know why, but I'm literally in tears after hearing the last song- "Never Had a Say." I am sitting here just so shocked at my outburst! If I could listen to the song many times, it would be my favorite one of yours. Mainly because the lyrics seem to be (what is a better word than poetic?) You know what I mean- I think it is very well-written.

Also, what I meant tonight at dinner was that I didn't have the time at that moment to listen to all four songs and comment, so I decided to wait until I did. I think I may have put it in a weird way! sorry

Seriously, I thought Kingsport Town was the saddest of this lot. Hmmm... Was it because you know me or because you agree with that outlook on life and think it sucks or something else?

Nah, Kingsport Town isn't that sad. Kingsport is what it is. :)Never Had a Say seems real and probably what a lot of people relate to. Most people probably. But seeing as how none of your songs are even loosely tied to your or your life, it couldn't be sad because I know you! :)

I think you did a good job even with the phrase "Never Had a Say." I think it is a powerful song.

Thank you for the invitation while Phil was out of town, I actually made a last- minute decision trip to go to Atlanta for 3 nights. I left on Sat.
